About the memorial: A cross "Fleury" on a tall, octagonal stem with circular bands at its base. This set on a square plinth with 3 tiered circular top which all stands on a square 3 stepped base. The plinth hasa diffferent relief of a shield at the top of each side together with inset bronze plaques showing dedication on front & names + rank on the sides.
