About the memorial: The memorial consists of a central, irregular block of stone with metal plaque, flanked on either side by rectangular blocks of stone, each containing a metal plate bearing the names of the fallen, one side for WW1, the other for WW2 and Iraq, all reached by a paved path. There is also a new bench (a stock item so not a memorial in it's own right). As the dedication includes all conflicts since WW2 "post 1945 conflicts" has been added to the list above. Also at the entrance to the park (so some little distance away from the main memorial grouping) is a simple stone of remembrance with a slate dedication tablet for WW2, which has incised lettering. This memorial is an addition to the obelisk in Coronation Park on a hill above Wadebridge which had become inaccessible for the elderly members of the town (WMO/114100). Steven Mark Roberts, the Iraq war casualty, had latterly lived at Bradford.
