About the memorial: Tablet inside St Andrew's Church, Swavesey. Inscribed with the names of the fallen. Technically two tablets but joined together to form one memorial. Wall mounted, portrait orientated, apex pedimented, brown marble backboard supporting a pedimented, dedicatory white marble tablet. Immediately below, is a wall mounted, lighter brown marble backboard supporting two smaller tablets for WW2 and the Falklands Campaign. Incised inscriptions and names on all three tablets, infilled with black paint. (Marble types and colours are generalised terms)

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.
