About the memorial: A large area of woodland situated on the boundary between Cottingham and Hull planted in commemoration of WW1 and named after the conflict, part of the Battle of Arras in which the East Yorkshire Regiment had a leading role in May 1917. I could not see any commemorative plaque on the roadside.
