About the memorial: This distinctive First World War memorial comprises a stone cross on top of a cairn-type structure. The names and ranks of 82 military personnel lost in the war are marked in very small leaded letters upon individual stones forming the cairn. The name of the company which built the memorial is also recorded on the base as 'Haile & Son Ltd, Boston Rd, NW'.The names are not in alphabetical order on the memorial, but were recorded in alphabetical order by Colin McIintyre in the 1980s and photogrphs of his list are shown here. The church is a Hawksmoor church

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
