About the memorial: Standing on the western edge of the churchyard, in a gap in the churchyard wall, overlooking the village green/pond. A sandstone Latin Cross atop a slender octagonal pillar, upon a carved octagonal plinth, above a two-tiered base. The whole standing an a small, flagged pavement, behind a black metal fence.The front face bears a brass plaque with the general commemoration and the names of 2 who fell in WW2. The left and right faces bear similar plaques, with the names of 15 who fell in WW1. The names for WW1 are listed in surname alphabetical order, with first name and surname. No ranks or units are listed. (The brass plaques are replacements for the original naming, but it is not known what that was.)

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.
