About the memorial: This is another memorial dedicated to the Belfast Banking Company, the others are at the Danske Bank Donegall Square West. This particular memorials consists of two parts, the stained glass window and underneath a bronze plaque on a marble base. The plaque has the names of dead of the Great War, as well in the middle the coat of arms of the Belfast banking Company, across the top is a scroll and inscribed in this is a sentence in Latin see inscription below)

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

On the stained glass window at the bottom is the following `To the Glory of God and in memory of staff of the Belfast Banking Company who gave their lives for their country in the Great War` On the memorial plaque is the following Across the of the plaque in latin is DULCE ET DECORUMESTPRO PATRIAMORI Under the coat of arms is the following `The above window is erected by the staff of the Belfast Banking Company Ltd in memory of these of their brother officials who died on the field of battle in the Great War`
