About the memorial: A sandstone fimbriated Latin cross, hexagonal in section, on a tapered square pillar with hollowed faces and ornamented with the heraldic shields of St George, St Andrew, St Peter and St Paul. The pillar surmounts a battered oblong sandstone pedestal with chamfered corners and bearing the incised inscription and names on the faces in upright capital roman lettering. The whole surmounts a square sandstone ashlar two-stepped base and a large hexagonal sandstone ashlar foundation built into the slope of the ground. It is at the southern boundary of the churchyard, next to the eastern lychgate.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
