About the memorial: A stained glass window of three lights, in the centre is a figure with a dedicatory description at the base. Dedicated January 1956. The window is in the East Surrey Memorial Chapel, and commemorates the military service of Major General Sir John Raynsford Longley (1867-1953) and his son Midshipman Charles Raynsford Longley, who died when his ship HMS Indefatigable was sunk at the battle of Jutland in 1916.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
