About the memorial: Five stepped octagonal base surmounted by octagonal plinth, octagonal planeled pedestal, tapering octagonal shaft and latin cross. Inscription incised in black painted lettering on the sides and corners of the pedestal and plinth. Whole stands within a small garden area enclosed by metal railings and stone posts. A short flight of steps lead up to the memorial Wreath with ribbons carved in relief on four faces of the plinth. There are possible representations of helmets carved on the tops of the fence posts.
