  • Stone Granite

About the memorial: Granite wheel cross with demi-sphere decoration on head, surmounting tapering stone pedestal. Two-stepped wide stone base. The dedication starts at the bottom of the cross and carries down onto the pedestal. Names are in sans serifs capitals. The quotation is on the rear of the top step. Another name has been added below this. In 2017-2018 the memorial was turned round through 180 degrees so as the names now face into the Churchyard due to safety difficulties holding services on what is now a buy road. At the same time a lean in the cross was corrected. On 4 November 2018 a new seat was placed in the Churchyard- this is not a memorial in it's pwn right as it is a generic/mass produced seat by David Ogilvie
