About the memorial: White Parchment with blue writing, on blue backing paper, all in a glazed wooden frame. The Air Force, Naval and Civilian names are in one column across the page, the Army names are in two columns. From the photograph it can be seen that two names have been added- Ella Rossi Eldon and Michael Toman. Hence the title of the memorial is now incorrect (Men and Girl) , as there are now two women’s names recorded. These additions were made in 2010. The photograph also shows that the memorial has been differently mounted in the past, from the shadows of previous tape/glue. The memorial was removed in 1978 for major renovations in the church. It was then ‘lost’ and rediscovered in the presbytery in 2010. It was then re-framed and installed back in the church. It is not known if it is in the same location as it was before 1978.
