About the memorial: Wood Panelling down the full length of both the north and south nave walls. There is a simple wooden board of dedication half way down the south wall.The ‘three brave sons’ are those further commemorated on the other brasses (WMO/170082 and 170084) and alms houses (WMO/170081) at this location- namely Ronald Fryer Bickersteth Dickinson and Alan Peile Dickinson (both killed in action) and George Fryer Dickinson, who died of wounds and war associated health problems in 1932. The family lived at Red How, Lamplugh.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.
