RICHARD (Richard Alfred Manning, Rifleman, 322345, 1/6th Bn London Regiment (City of London Rifles), killed in action on 26 September, 1917 (according the CWGC and SDGW), not the 23rd. Commemorated on the Arras Memorial, France. The son of Jesse John and Hannah Manning, of 'Mount Close', Westacre Road, Swaffham, Norfolk. Not listed on any of the Swaffham war memorials.)
