About the memorial: As viewed from Churchyard : Two-stepped rectangular base surmounted by a squat, square sectioned plinth with stop-chamfered upper vertical edges. Incised inscriptions on plinth faces & upper step with certain aspects of plinth inscription in relief. Rising from the plinth is a wooden support-framed square sectioned cross, attached to which, is a bronze, crucifixion figure of Christ. From roadside view, the two memorial base steps are merged as one large flush-fronted step & slightly recessed back into a section of Churchyard wall.
