About the memorial: The war memorial consists of two wooden panels with hinges at one side of each panel. This memorial has suffered from some neglect, is vulnerable in its current position and would benefit from restoration. This church was closed and not in any use between 2006 and 2014. The main reredos in the chancel was sold. As of 2017 the church, which is now known as St Michael's, Fulwell, is in use again while undergoing full scale redevelopment/renovation. An application to the WMT for help with renovation work on the memorial is planned following further improvements to the building itself.
