About the memorial: Pre-printed Card Roll of Honour in a glazed wooden frame in the vestry with pictures of soldiers and seamen, a cannon and a warship, all draped in the flags of Great Britain at the top and the word ROLL OF HONOUR pre-printed. All the other text is handwritten. Was formally in the school. It should be noted that none of the killed men are on the village memorial. To view the original access to the vestry needs to be arranged with the Church in advance. There are biographical details in the Church in a book on the shelf of the NE window of the nave, including dates of death & service numbers.
