About the memorial: Limestone obelisk with white marble name plaques set within decorated pillars with dentilled canopy over. On the west face there is a panel commemorating the dead of the Second World War. There is a separate panel commemortating “Barry John M 1972”. On the rear (west) face there is a panel stating “This monument was erected by public subscription September 26th 1920”. Slight settlement cracking present to the north west corner base stones but otherwise in good/fair condition on 16/05/2014.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
