Four inscriptions. The main inscriptions for WWI are in raised lettering and are: 'In honour of / the men of / Roehampton / who fought / and died in / the Great War / 1914-1918' (this inscription appears on separate panels on seven sides of the memorial base) and 'The names are recorded in the village churches'. Subsequent inscriptions read: 'In memory of the men and women of Roehampton who gave their lives in the 1939-1945 war' and 'This memorial was restored in 1952 following destruction by enemy action in 1941'.

No individual names. These are recorded in the village churches.
