About the memorial: Standing in the churchyard, to the south east of the church.A rough hewn quartz-granite Maltese Cross standing atop a block plinth of the same stone, the front face ground flat upon which is the general commemoration and listing the names of 5 who were killed in action, 2 who died on service and one who was killed on war work. Those killed are listed in a left hand column, and those died in a right hand column. They are listed alphabetically by surname, with first name and surname. No rank or unit are listed.
