About the memorial: Square base surmounted by plinth, tapering shaft and Celtic Cross. Inscription in black lettering on two sides of plinth. Celtic design carved on the front and rear face of the cross and shaft. A mile or so south of Beattock on the A701. Visible but not accessible by car from A701. For vehicular access continue south and take the next westerly exit.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
