About the memorial: The memorial stands in the kirk yard of the old Kinellar Kirk situated on the minor road which runs past Cairntradlin farm and parallels the B979 road. The memorial is a tall classic granite rectangular monument on a three-step base surmounted by a Greek style draped urn. At total of 23 names are listed from World War One with a futher 5 from World War 2. An official 'contains Commonwealth War Graves sign has recently been affixed to the gate leading into the kirk yard
