About the memorial: In the northern half of the cemetery, near the noerthern end in the centre.Addition to the gravestone of Edward Scrimshaw and Elizabeth Ann West. Also commemorating his son, Wilfred Scrimshaw, killed at Givenchy on 22nd December, 1914, aged 20.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

You can save your Pre-application enquiry form as you go along. Once submitted War Memorials Trust will respond.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF EDWARD SCRIMSHAW WEST WHO FELL ASLEEP MARCH 24TH 1939 AGED 77 YEARS. ___ ALSO HIS BELOVED WIFE ELIZABETH ANN WHO FELL ASLEEP JAN. 7TH 1940 AGED 76 YEARS. ___ AND WILFRED SCRIMSHAW THEIR SON KILLED AT GIVENCHY DEC. 22ND 1914 AGED 20 YEARS. ___ AND KENNETH EDWARD WEST THEIR GRANDSON WHO FELL ASLEEP OCT. 2ND 1922 AGED 10 MONTHS.
