About the memorial: War memorial in the form of an obelisk erected by the Royal Sussex Regiment in memory of men killed in the Egyptian campaign of 1882 and the Nile expedition of 1884-5. 1888. Marble and polished granite. Square base with a square plinth mounted on it with chamfered corners and the faces carrying inscriptions in panels of polished granite, cornice with pediments and antefixae; the obelisk proper forms the second stage. c Historic England listing entry

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
