About the memorial: This memorial is located on the exterior wall of Foster Court on the pedestrianised section of Malet Street, inside UCL's campus. It is high up on the east side of the street. The plaque has the inscription and the names incised in Lake District Green Slate. These are in capital letters. University College Hall, Ealing was a men's hall of residence for members of UCL, opened in 1908 and which was sold after the Second World War. This monument was moved from University College Hall at some point after its closure.
