About the memorial: This limestone wheel-cross war memorial comprises of a two stepped base surmounted by square pedestal carrying a inscriptions to all elevations and polygonal shaft, moulded collar and wheel cross finial. The memorial is situated within the churchyard of St. Andrew’s Church in the village of Buxton. Wheel cross dedicated to those from Buxton who lost their lives during the First and Second World War.
