About the memorial: After WW1, three hospital beds in the old Harrogate Infirmary were endowed in the name of Captain Haslam, who was killed in action in November 1917. The hospital has since moved to th present site. Whether the memorial plaque was retained and moved is not known. Investigation would be valuable
