About the memorial: On the west wall is a carved oak effigy of St George and the Dragon set on a canopied pedestal with folding doors bearing the names of the men of the parish who fell in the Great War 1914-18. Copper plated plaques have been added with two names of those who fell in WW2 ( submitted by John C - Torquay)Dedicated by the Vicar of Totnes, Rev.W.T.Wellacott, April 1920.
