The top plaque which carries the dedication is a hemisphere, with laurel wreath carved in half relief above it. Below it are four vertical plaques each bearing the names in a single column on each. Below this is a horizontal plaque bearing the quotation and the dates, which are in red with a tiny red bow under each date. Beneath this again are two smaller horizontal plaques with a long one above, added in 1994, for WW2. The long plaque is for the dedication/dates, the smaller ones for the names, which are in 2 columns on each. All lettering is in Roman capitals in black with some red initials and dates See also our reference 80796 for the hall itself. Inside the Memorial Hall (WMO/254578)
