About the memorial: This Memorial is situated in All Saints Churchyard, the names are raised on cast bronze plaques with the First World War at the front and the Second World War at the rear. A third plaque on the left side contains the inscription, there is also an inscription incised in the stone on the front below the plaque. All Saints Church, which it was alleged at the time, was fired and burnt down by militant suffragets on the night of June 4th 1914.
