About the memorial: Stained glass window with uniformed servicemen and women. Decorated 5-light stained glass window with 38 tracery lights, showing Christ blessing armed servicemen and women, along with war workers. Women are wearing a variety of clothing include Army and WAAF uniform and a land girl. The men are wearing various uniforms and represent a variety of nationalities including a sikh in a turban. The inscription runs at the foot of the window with the first two lines in black lettering on clear glass and the last three lines in clear lettering on black painted glass.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.
