About the memorial: The memorial is situated at the rear of the town cemetery, and is accessed by a footpath from Denny Road around North side of cemetery towards the Gaelic Chapel The memorial consists of a three stepped base surmounted by a square column in the shape of a tower with a crenelated top. Inscription tablets are set into the front face of the tower. Four canons jut out from the top corners of the column. The memorial has inscriptions of 45 names for WW1 and 33 names for WW2.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
