About the memorial: Wooden framed and glazed memorial document with 14 names of the two Canadian/British bomber crews who died when their aircrafts collided over Yelvertoft, Dec. 5th. 1944. (A Maple tree and an English oak tree were planted close to one of the crash sites, on December 6th. 2014 to commemorate the 70th. anniversary of the mid-air collision The two trees will now serve as an ongoing memorial, ref : 207275).
