About the memorial: Square step and base surmounted by two-stepped pillar and topped by an urn. Dedicatory inscription and WW1 names carved and infilled with Black paint on tablets placed on all sides of the lower section of the pillar. WW2 and Malaya name have been placed on an additional tablet placed at the foot of the front face of the memorial. Wreaths with swags carved in relief at the top of each face of the lower section of the pillar. A sword, a mace, a wreath and a swag are carved in relief on the faces of the upper section of the pillar.
