About the memorial: A beautifully maintained memorial, situated near the old remains of Bottreaux Castle, just off Dunn Street in the village of Boscastle on the north coast of Cornwall. It commemorates on the front face the war dead of two parishes, Forrabury and Minster. On the rear and two side faces, the memorial also lists the names of all those from the parishes who served in World War I.
