About the memorial: The memorial stands in the churchyard, on the north-east corner of the church.It comprises a foliate Latin Cross upon a short column, on a square plinth and three-stepped square base. The front of the plinth bears the WW1 dates, with the general commemoration on a a slab beneath. On similar slabs on the left and right faces are the names of 8 men (4 on each face) who fell in WW1.
