About the memorial: Full-sized Crucifixion of Christ on a stone base. The inscribed dedication and names are carved into pieces of the base shaped in the classic shield design. The one bearing the First World War dedication also has on it a carved laurel wreath. The Second World War inscription is on an additional piece of stone resting at the foot of the base.
