About the memorial: Celtic wheel cross on a three-stepped plinth. The WW2 inscription is on the lower part of the cross where it meets the base. The WW1 inscription is spli between the steps of the plinth. The memorial stands on a shallow rectangular base. The names on the stones are those of the fallen of the 2 World Wars from the village. The base measures 2290mm x 2400mm, with the wedding cake style blocks measuring, 1060mm x 1210mm, 770mm x 920mm, 600mm x 770mm. The height of the blocks, from the base measures 240mm, 250mm and 220mm. The cross measures 2370mm tall. The names are listed alphabetically, full names for Second World War, but no ranks, in the 1st World War, the fallen men of the parish have their rank listed as well. A full list of the persons who died in the 1st World War and those who took part is listed in a roll of honour that is fixed to the wall, inside of the church porch. This is accessible by walking up the path to the front door of the church.
