About the memorial: 1898 Memorial TabletBlack Brass on Marble Royal Warwickshire Regiment 1898 Memorial Tablet is located fixed to the rear of the first column inside the main entrance of the Church. 3.8Ft wide X 3.9Ft high it commemorates forty nine names and service numbers of those of the Regiment who died during the Sudan Campaign of 1898.

The top inscription reads; 'IN MEMORY OF ALL RANKS / OF THE ROYAL WARWICKSHIRE REGIMENT / WHO FELL IN BATTLE, DIED OF WOUNDS OR SICKNESS / IN THE COURSE OF THE SUDAN CAMPAIGN 1898' Beneath the listed names (incised) in two columns is the next inscription which reads; 'DULCE ET DECORUM EST PRO PATRIA MORI' The final inscription reads; 'THIS TABLET IS ERECTED BY THE COUNTY OF WARWICK'.
