About the memorial: The memorial is located in the Churchyard. Octagonal base surmounted by double stacked sandstone plinth with shaft & cross. Copper inscription plaques are fixed to the sides of plinth. The entirety stands on a specially constructed mound. Two flower holders on corners of base. [memorial design is similar to another in Croop Hill cemetery, New Bilton].
