About the memorial: One of those annoying Scottish memorials named after a parish but actually located at another town rather than the town after which the parish is named. It stands on a small hill between Sandhead and the Sands of Luce Holiday Park.WWi names on a bronze plaque. WW2 leaded onto the stone. Also a bench donated by ex-servicemen.
