About the memorial: In the churchyard extension, across the road from the church entrance.At the end of a path, a solid granite, slightly tapered obelisk of rough hewn design, standing upon a similar square plinth, upon a single tier base. The base of the column bears the basic WW1 commemoration, below which on the front face of the plinth is the general commemoration, below which are the names of 20 men (with 2 officers at the head and the remainder in 2 columns) who fell in WW1. These are arranged alphabetically order by surname, with first names, ranks, and one with a decoration. Below these names have been added the dates for WW1 and a further 3 names.
