About the memorial: Located half way between Cruden Bay and Hatton. The church is a left turn off Golf Road heading towards Hatton. The memorial gates are up a side road beside the church in the west wall of the cemetery. See SWMP Link for photos and names. The War Memorial of Cruden forms the gateway arch at the side entrance to Cruden Churchyard, facing the northeast. It is a simple wide arch with square pillars on either side and surmounted by a simple cross. It was unveiled on March 20th 1921. There are war graves in the churchyard.
