IN MEMORY OF THE RIGHT HONOURABLE LADY MARY FITZROY, WIFE OF SIR CHARLES AUGUSTUS FITZROY, K.C.B., K.H. AND DAUGHTER OF OF CHARLES 4TH DUKE OF RICHMOND LENNOX AND AUBIGNY, K.G. DIED 7TH DECEMBER 1847. ALSO IN MEMORY OF CAPTAIN AUGUSTUS CHARLES LENNOX FITZROY, OF THE ROYAL ARTILLERY, ELDEST SON OF SIR CHARLES AND LADY FITZROY, WHO DIED ON THE 10TH SEPTEMBER 1855, AGED 33,/ AT THE CAMP BEFORE SEBASTOPOL, FROM THE EFFECT OF A WOUND RECEIVED ON THE 8TH SEPTEMBER WHILE COMMANDING IN ONE OF THE ADVANCED BATTERIES COVERING THE ATTACK ON THE REDAN, WHERE HE HAD GREATLY DISTINGUISHED HIMSELF BY HIS GALLANT CONDUCT.
