About the memorial: US Armed Forces: The roadside memorial is located close to a signpost pointing to Deene, on the north side of Harringworth to Laxton Road. The memorial consists of a single-stepped square base surmounted by a square sectioned plinth with upper platform & tapering square sectioned obelisk. Metal plaques are mounted at the obelisk base & on the plinth, with inscription lettering infilled with white paint. The whole memorial is surrounded by a small paved area. Close by is an information panel explaining the role of the airfield.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
