About the memorial: SWMP says A93. IWMA says A97. Both wrong! B9077.The Kirkton of Durris memorial is a simple, slim light grey granite obelisk set on a corniced predestal which rests on two low steps. A shield with saltire is carved in relief on the face of the obelisk. The commemoration and names of the dead are listed in black painted lettering on the faces of the pedestal.
