In loving memory of Lieut. Col. Edward Henry Chapman, 6th Batt., The Yorkshire Regt. killed at the capture of Hill Lala Baba, Gallipoli, on the 7th August 1915 aged 40 years. Before the war, Major in the 2nd. Batt. A.P.W.O., Yorkshire Regt. (The Green Howards).
