In perpetual memory of the Officers, Non-commissioned Officers & Men belonging to the parish of Bolton-le-Sands, Slyne-with-Hest and Nether Kellet, who gave their lives in the Great War, 1914 - 1918. This tablet is erected by their fellow parishioners in gratitude for the sacrifice made on their behalf.(names). Also those who gave their lives in the Second World War 1939 - 1945 (names).
