About the memorial: Battlefield cross with marble tablet in memory of George Lane, with second marble tablet below with further detail. Church is Grade I listed. A wooden battlefield cross , one GRU tag on the upper part of the upright and the dedication painted in black and extending over the cross member and upright . The cross is fixed to the wall and just below the base of the upright is a rectangular white marble tablet with the dedication incised and coloured black , the dedication wording associates the cross and tablet .

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

You can save your Pre-application enquiry form as you go along. Once submitted War Memorials Trust will respond.
