On the face side of the column 'Tribute' and '1914' and on the plinth 'To the Glory of God and the gallant men of Warter Priory Estate who fell in the Great War 1914 - 1919.' followed by nine names. Face 2 - 'Also to the memory of Frederick Crane and Albert Lacy who gave their lives for their King and Country during World War Two 1939-1945'. Rear '1919'
